2024-2025 Salary Schedules
The Board approved a salary of $101,340 for the Principal/Director, based on 180 days of work and enrollment of more than 100 students.
The Principal set a salary of $80,640 for the Assistant Principal, a salary of $54,868 for the Registrar/College & Career Advisor, and a salary of $48,000 for the Administrative Assistant/Independent Study Coordinator.
The majority of instructors at Ascend are 1099 contractors who hold an adjunct teaching license. All Ascend instructors are paid per section per semester based on this pay scale. Full time faculty are paid at the appropriate hourly rate from the pay scale, but are W2 employees.
All teachers are paid for 102 hours per section per semester
- 68 hours of active instruction
- 34 hours of planning/grading
The Special Programs Coordinator and Special Education Instructor are also contract employees paid at the appropriate hourly rate from the approved salary schedule.
Substitute Teachers are paid at a rate of $50 per section, up to a total of $175 per day.
2023-2024 Salary Schedules
The Board approved a salary of $80,000 for the Principal/Director.
The Principal set a salary of $60,000 for the Assistant Principal.
The Registrar and College & Career Advisor, as well as the Special Programs Coordinator are contract employees paid at a rate of $46 per hour, up to $40,000 annually.
All instructors at Ascend are 1099 contractors. All Ascend instructors are paid per section per semester at the following rates:
First/Second year at Ascend – $4500 per section
Third year at Ascend – $4750 per section
2022-2023 Salary Schedules
The Board approved a salary of $80,000 for the Principal/Director.
The Principal set a salary of $40,000 for the Registrar and Community Outreach Coordinator.
The Special Programs Coordinator is a contract employee paid at a rate of $504 per week, up to $20,000 annually.
All instructors at Ascend are 1099 contractors. All Ascend instructors are paid per section per semester at a rate of $4500 per section.
2021-2022 Salary Schedules
The Board approved a salary of $60,000 for the Principal/Director; however, the Principal elected to take a decreased salary of $40,000 in order to ensure school financial viability in year one.
The Principal set a salary of $40,000 for the Registrar and Community Outreach Coordinator; however the Registrar elected to take a decreased salary of $20,000 in order to ensure school financial viability in year one.
The Special Programs Coordinator is a contract employee paid at a rate of $504 per week, up to $20,000 annually.
